Izabella is 7 months old!

7 months, is it possible?!

Why yes, I am cute!

I honestly cannot believe that 7 months have already come, and is half-way gone, since Izabella was born. It is absolutely flying by! Amazing how time seems to go by even faster when you have kids!

What a fun month this has been! She is still discovering more and more things and it is so much fun to watch. Sometimes it just amazes me the things she notices and figures out. She is crawling EVERYWHERE and is pulling up better and better every day. She is getting into everything that she can possibly reach! She crawls all over her horse, but isn't too crazy about sitting on him just yet. That is unless the Veggie Tales are on TV then she will sit on it until the show is completely over!! She loves to play with her "kitchen" that the Hargroves gave her for Christmas. It is the reason she first pulled up! She wanted to put the "faucet" in her mouth so bad, that she worked and worked until she had it! She also is enjoying her "aquarium". She puts her head down to look inside it and it just cracks me up!

"I know it's in there.....I can see it!"

"I can feel it.....yep, got it!"

She is still eating wells and seems to really like sweet potatoes, prunes and pears. But anything green, she still instead to wild about! She has four teeth now and another one trying to come in! So, we have started to feed Izabella in our lap and usually while sitting on the couch. It just seems to be easier that way. Well, on this one occasion, I left some green beans and applesauce sitting on the couch because I had forgot something in the kitchen. I was gone for only a second, and did not even think about her being about to reach it sitting there on the couch. Well, as I round the corner I see Izabella with the container of green beans......and the green beans are all over her face, couch, and floor! I didn't snap the picture soon enough to get her face, but wish I would have because it was PRICELESS!! All I have to say is, thank goodness for green carpet and stain guard!!

Her eating so well is wonderful, but what is even more exciting than that, is that she is sleeping through the night in her own bed!! I miss having her in the room with us, but everyone is getting much better sleep now that she is in her own room. We don't really have a "set" schedule, but who needs one anyway?!

She LOVES playing in her bed! She is such a happy baby in the morning!!

Izabella also had her first overnight trip away from us. Chris was a groomsman in a friends wedding in Dallas. We had to go up on Friday for the rehearsal dinner so we chose to leave her at my parents house instead of trying to wrestle with her through it all. I think it was harder on me than it was her! I missed her like crazy but Chris and I enjoyed out little adult time together. I was ready to squeeze her when we got back to Stephenville on Saturday night!

We are having so much fun with Izabella! Like I said earlier, I really can't believe she is already 7 months old! She is so sweet and so good. God has truly blessed our family with her!!

This portable DVD player has been the best purchase EVER! She will watch the Veggie Tales over and over and over.......makes a long ride shorter! :) We usually don't use the headphones and now have it up on the headrest, but isn't this the cutest!
